My entry did well, but had a mixed reception. I love the photo - perhaps partly because it was such a magical experience watching the fallow deer. Perhaps one of the others might have done a tad better, but nonetheless pleased with my finish. |

I third the "wow"! What an incredible adventure, Robert!
Mine was a little more tame, but I went up to Chincoteague Wildlife Refuge -- best known for its wild ponies. I'd driven through once before, but didn't have the opportunity to take many pictures. A Week Late... and a Buck Short. This guy showed up in my front yard today. I guess he was 9 days late.
