Time Magazine - ALL TIME TOP 100 GADGETS
Interesting to see the Canon 5DII at number 25...

really: no ballpoint pens, velcro, power strips?

I hit 17 past and present (will be 18 in the future I guess when the second gen ipad comes out :-)

i can happily say i have only owned one out of the top 10 and i only cared to own that one (gameboy).

actually in hindsight, it wasn't mine, it was my brother's.

Went through the list again as I did not see the Velcro on there and didn't realize that power-strip was the power-strip for plugging in.

So yes yes now 5 out of 100

Pretty much any one who lives in the modern world *has* to have owned or at least used 10 out of the 100 items.
Silly how some of these items are the newest whiz-bang gizmos; honestly in 20 years most of these will have evaporated from collective memory.

I'm a geek, i guess.

In the immediate family, we've had 5 of the top 10, 12 of the top 25, and 41 overall out of the 100.
