So I found this website called ppw.com it supposed to be/have Pro photographers in WA state. many of them really arent fantastic, atleast the ones that are close to me. But I found this photographer with her (I'm assuming) website and i love her work. well, atleast most of it.

HERE is her site.

So with school most likely becoming 'full time' (only 3 classes) what should i do? possibly see if i could work as an assistant, gofer, or whatever else?

I do want to get into photoraphy atleast as a part time job, or atleast start getting some side jobs. Could this help me out a lot, getting experience and all? I'm still thinking everything over, and where I'm at its becoming winter, so there wouldnt be too much work, would there be?

anything helps DPC.

~Sofia

P.S.

I would love to do this with a women photographer, idk why but i think i would be more comfortable working that way. Also if anyone else wants to suggest a photographer close to the seattle area or Federal Way/Auburn/Kent area that would be wonderful too!

Man, these days I feel so unloved as a guy.

I think you could give her a call. The worst that could happen is she says no. Maybe she would have leads on something else in the area as well. Local photog clubs, etc.

I guess it's not completely clear what you're asking! Of course experience can help...so can connections.

But it really depends on what you want to do...does she do the type of work you want? Do you wish you could take the same quality pics as her? Does she know about the things you need to know?

But as DrAchoo says, why not give her a call and discuss what you're looking for...she may be looking for help. Or she may answer the questions you have!
