Just looking through the latest issue of Popular Photography that came yesterday and a familiar photo caught my eye as the "Street Scenes" category winner for "travelographer of the year":
He also had a second image selected as well, in the category of "Great Outdoors" but I didn't find it in my brief look through his DPC portfolio.
Granted, that is not the same level of recognition as receiving a Grog comment, but it's certainly some nice feathers in his cap.

I just saw the Popular Photography issue last night. They did a bigger play than American Photo. I also received word that they will do a piece on the web site as well. I'll post the link when I see it. My current entry in Chalk was taken with the Olympus EPL1 that I won in the contest! ;-)
