Any Mac or iPhone users looking for a good word processor/text editor, try out WriteRoom:

//www.hogbaysoftware.com/products/writeroom

It's fullscreen typing, no menubar or dock, it stays on top of other windows, it can be hidden with Cmd+H keystroke, menubar appears if you move mouse to top of1 screen, you can change font, background, size, defaults, etc. Many options.

it's amazing. minimalistic. and beautiful.
I think it's coming to the Android OS as well soon.

Check it out if you have the time, you'll be impressed, I assure you.

While I am not sure about Word, I do know that Pages will go full screen with nothing to distract you from writing (it also looks better then that green on black, which I am sure if I wanted I could make pages show it like that). Not sure why I would want to buy another program that all it does is give you a full screen to type on and does no formatting or anything of the like.

Most of my writing is for school and I need to use references and normally have 8 different things opened across 3 monitors. Only being able to see my document would be a hindrance to writing. When I have time I am also writing a book and for that I use a pretty slick piece of software that will go full screen when I want to just write but also organizes my notes, outlines and reference material.

Just real puzzled why someone would want a piece of software like that.
