Hey PS Gurus, I have an issue I hope you can help me with. I added titles and descriptions to the metadata on a group of photos in the file browser. Worked great but unfortunately it also changed the 'date created' field to today's date. Glad I noticed that little quirk before fiddling with any of my challenge photos!

Anyway, does anyone know how to keep that from happening? Thanks!!

As long as the stuff in the "Camera Data (Exif)" tab is still valid, you are fine. (Specifically, 'Date Time Original' and 'Date Time Digitized' should match).

You're right, Eddy!



I was looking at pic that I scanned from film when I freaked about the exif data. Amazingly, when I look at a digital photo, all the data is there and intact.
Duh!
