Hey, I just want to tell you how much I am enjoying dpc again. I went away for a while because of some difficult personal issues and I am starting to get involved here once again.
And you know what? I am hoping to enter many more challenges... I have decided to enter pictures that satisfy me and not worry about the voting. It's for FUN!!! It's for ME!!! And I have become secure in what styles of photography suit me best and what makes me fulfilled and I just want to have some fun with it and grow.
Thank you to everyone for comments, for feedback, for just being plain ol' kind, caring and helpful... I have grown much in my photography over the last few years because of you. And I haven't even posted my recent stuff... it is so much better than it used to be!!!

I think you will find when you are entering what pleases yourself, your scores will also pick up. It's weird that way. Maybe not. Trying to please everyone might be like decision making by committee.

I love this image of yours...my father used to take us up in to the Sierra Nevadas, around Mono Lake and the June Lake Loop. Mother Nature's Private Retreat. :-) |
