Ok...got an Imac...have PS5....Have Canon IP5000 Printer. Can print fine but there is nowhere in the print dialog box is there a place to select paper type. For example....Canon glossy, Canon glossy plus...other photo paper...etc...

The prints are not coming out anywhere near the quality that I am used to when I could select the paper type on my old PC.

Anyone have this issue?

Thanks,

In CS5 there is a button called print settings which is under the copies option. Below the paper size choice is an drop menu option called "Layout" in there you should see the paper choice.

What PPD (driver) do you have installed? If you have a generic PPD inuse, the print jobs will still get sent to the printer, and they will print, but the computer will be unaware of any device specific features.

I've lost that feature before so I could relate. I think Apple bury's it on purpose so that we end up feeling like idiots when we finally find it.
