Challenge: Put a Camera into Space
Description: Let's see if you can put a camera into space and get the stunning images to which DPC has become accustomed. Let's make NASA proud.

Advanced Editing.

Special Rules: It will take some planning, so the challenge run-time is 6 months.

I'm willing to bet, someone will figure out how to do HDR in space :)

Not a problem, program the camera for bracketed 3-shot bursts and use auto-align :-)

ETA: Of course, this assumes someone's willing to put a dSLR or some other higher-end digicam into near space, LOL.

I don't have the money to upgrade my equipment let alone risk it to space travel. I'm sure this crowd would get some amazing shots!

DPCer's have been known to risk life and limb for "the shot"... and I remember a certain sneezing Doc being especially hard on 5Ds in the past :)

Took this in July ... ;-)

It's not deep space, but people have been getting interesting shots using Kite Aerial Photography

Cool...the outakes can be photos of all the smashed up cameras that were securely fastened to the kite. :)

One guy at PentaxForums has done it 3 times with no problems.
