Besides the Rebel XSI being a 12 megapixels and the 10D a 6.3 megapixels which is a better camera????

The XSi has 5 years worth of R&D over the 10D (XSi, 2008 - 10D, 2003). Beyond typical bells & whistles, CMOS sensors have come a long way in that time.

XSi has 14-bit RAW files vs. 12 to start.
The only advantage the 10D has is a more heavy duty body. Otherwise, the XSi is a far superior camera.

How about 30D. I think you can compare xsi and 30D! or 20D but 30D has bit more stuff like larger LCD!

Nope, the XSi inherits more features from the 40D. The 30D is basically a slightly improved 20D, still having a 12-bit, 8MP sensor, comparing more to the Rebel XT.

I know, but isn't better to compare xsi to 20 or 30D than 10D? I think that was my point. Price wise I believe they are about the same these days? (New xsi vs used 20 or 30D)

Probably a better comparison price-wise, but the XSi would still out-perform the 20D and 30D.

I am not sure about the image quality between XSi and 30D... it seems like 30D is better. I go with the reviews. 30D is the only machine has 100% positive review at Amazon for Canon DSLRs. I have used 30D many times before I had one (2008).. be honest, never used sxi, but I had 350D if it means anything.

I also would check our gallery before I make my decision.

XSi
30D

To be fair, 30D has more owners, and probably more entries. But just compare some of the photos. They should give some idea.
