Hi, I am new to this web site. So far I love what I see. Can't wait to join some challenges and get feedback. I am also new to forums I have never been in a forum of any kind on any website, and am finding it confusing. Any tips on the best way to utilize the forums?

Welcome to DPC Jennifer!
One of the nicest ways to meet people here and enjoy sharing feedback is to get in any of the side challenges. One of the enjoyable "anything goes" side challenges is going on this month if you want to join in or just read through the thread to see how it works. There is an explanation in the thread about how to post thumbnails in a thread. There are no scores in the side challenges, which makes it a lot more relaxed than it is to start right off in one of the regular challenges.

To post images from your computer to your portfolio, you first size them to 640 or 800 pixels on the longest side, so they don't use up all your portfolio space too fast, then put them in a file in your computer. To upload, use the "my portfolio" button in the dropdown below "My Home" in the top bar and follow the links there. Help is easy to get here, so any questions will be thoroughly confused with multiple answers.

I'd say the best way to utilize the forums is to simply get involved. post, comment, play,.
Everyone is great here excipt the trolls but you'll find out about them later as you go.
