okay so I want to submit but not sure on a few things.. i know that I won't win thats not the issue i just like the constructive criticism.. most of it anyway.. lol
he's my question cause i'm clueless. I have a photo i did last monday, which is in the time frame, but i ran an action on it called florabella vintage.. can I submit using that? in the rules it say something about no distortion like lens flare what about the vintage effect is that okay?

In basic editing, probably not OK. It's hard to be sure without knowing the actual script of the action, but if it uses layers in any way it's not legal in basic. I went to their website and I can't tell offhand if it achieves its result "legally" in DPC terms. To the extent that the vintage effect involves a fading/bleaching of color, that in and of itself is not illegal; it's just how the action gets there.

Best bet; send a ticket to Site Council via "Contact Us" under "Help" menu and see what they say.

searching for Florabella vintage it seems the `vintage` part of their action adds a texture to the image - which would not be allowed in basic or advanced. Vignettes are allowed in advanced, not basic.

If you like you can send me the image and I could have a look for you and give you a rough idea if it would be legal or not.

Best not to post the link to it here, just send it to Simms by P M. Use the link on his profile page.
