I heard quite a few people saying "lets wait to see what they launch at Photokina"... before buying new kit etc.

So what exciting things were launched?
It doesn't look like Canon launched any new DSLR at the show did they?
What about Nikon?

That's what I saw launched. I'm sure there were a ton of new coolpix too. Also the D3100 earlier.
Canon launched the 60D

That's what I know of, for sure.
