Newest site is up, need some help

check it out, I finally finished my new website. My last site was all Flash, now I have made one in HTML, my first ever.
So let me know what I can change to make it the best it can be. Or just leave nice comments, no mean ones :) jk.

The first thing I have noticed is the short time to see a photo, for me the slideshow goes too fast, I didn't have time to see some details, it's a bit frustrating.
Second point, one photo appears a bit pixelated, it's the one with the lighthouse, I understand that you have to protect your photos but as you show it in the homepage, maybe you could change the resolution or put another photo.
Third point, when I surf your web by categories, the position of the photos is too low in the screen in my opinion.
And finally the home button, it's too dark, only when the cursor is on, it is possible to see clearly that this is the home button.

Please don't take this bad, this is just an opinion, only my sincere point of view.
The photos are really good, there is one I specially like , #3 from the landscape serie, wow, simply beautiful !

Yes I was careless about the home button Im sorry. I positioned the gallery on the bottom because I tried to have the gallery resize automatically but that failed, never changed it back. Thanks for the compliments.

It looks good... =) Only thing that I noticed is that the slideshow is a bit too fast for me, no time to appreciate the details the photos.

I just changed the slideshow from 3 seconds to 4.5 seconds. Thanks guys for the help. I worked real hard on this and I had never worked with HTML before. I want to keep upgrading it as time goes by. I fear my portfolio isnt strong enough, but thats just me being insecure, or maybe it does stink lol

First, wow. Get over your insecurity. Your portfolio is gorgeous. Second, the home page slide show is way too fast. Seems more like 1.5 seconds than 4.5 seconds.

PS - looks like we'll finally be meeting this weekend!
