Might be fun to find and shoot some old and remarkable or interesting looking store fronts. Old general dealers, grocery store,more modern whatever...the choice is vast.

I like it. But how about just "Storefronts"? More inclusive and let the old battle the new. :)

... I would prefer old. But either would do nicely.

I personally do prefer old as well. Those old storefronts can often have some real character and color. But I agree that just "Storefronts" would be better as it allows for more inclusive images and it having old vs new battle it out gives it another interesting dimension too.
Here is a nice example of just such an old storefront taken by DPC member Lonz.

These days (around here anyway) a storefront challenge may as well be called a "For Lease Sign" challenge. ;-)

I agree, that would be a fun challenge. I don't shoot many buildings. It would be a motivator to do so...

Old store fronts would make a great challenge. I'm all for it being restricted to old. Maybe an alternative challenge could feature new ones. Sometimes there are great views to be had of old store rears, too.
