I'm really pleased and baffled with mine... having seen the other entries, I think mine is one of the worst, and yet this would be my PB score... strange. I don't expect it to remain a PB though. |

Nice improvement... I had a brief foray with 6.25 and nearly got a nosebleed. This will by my first 6+ if I can hang onto it. Fingers crossed! |

I have enjoyed voting on this challenge. However, not everyone will be happy with my comments but I tried to explain how the photo effected me and how it met my interpretation of the challenge. My own photo is doing a little better than I had predicted but, at the risk of coming off a little egotistical(ok, maybe a bit more than little), I feel my shot should be in the top 10 for this challenge. So come on guys, start voting my shot for what it deserves. :-)

It may well have been me... I've given out a few DNMC comments on this one... but DNMC is all relative anyway - I know that because on one of them my wife sat next to me felt it met the challenge, but I did not. Seeing as I only drop 1 point generally for a DNMC (especially a subjective DNMC like the ones in this challenge) then it shouldn't make a great difference to anyone's score. Some people give out 1's for DNMC! Of course, should lots of people mark a shot as DNMC then maybe it really does not meet the challenge.
If I took a picture of a statue, I would not call it a landscape merely because it sits on the land - likewise, there are a few images where something "in the sky" is the subject of the shot - the brief states "make the sky the subject". Therefore anything where the sky is the supporting role and there is another "subject" I count as DNMC's.
One thing I will add, DNMC doesn't mean I don't like the image - some of the DNMC's in this challenge are my favourite photos in the shoot... to me they just don't meet the brief. But hey, I'm a newbie here and it doesn't mean I am right! :-)
