Looking to see if anyone is running a 5DII, with a 90mb/s or fast transfer rate. I noticed a huge performance increase, going to a Sandisk 16gb 60mb/s UDMA card. Compared to my 15mb/s card, I get roughly 4-5 more raw continuous burst. Plus the buffer clears way faster and downloading speed has really increased. So my question is what could I expect to gain, from an even faster card. Anyone have experience with these crazy fast cards? I would love to hear your experiences on performance details.
Also,I have read the 5DII can transfer very fast, anyone know its max transfer speed? I have heard around 160mb/s. But I could be wrong...
Thanks and looking forward to hearing some great information!

Im surprised to see that for the D200 the Lexar Pro 300X are actually slower than the Lexar Pro 133X cards. I could have saved myself some money :) |

The D200 doesn't take advantage of UDMA performance. The same 300X Lexar cards are nearly twice as fast as the 133X versions in a D300, so you'll appreciate the investment the next time you upgrade your camera body. |

I'm anxiously awaiting the successor to the D700.
Thanks for that site BTW, its in my favourites now, and will certainly guide my next card purchase. |

That's cool, but It does not show any 90+mb/s card info. Such as the SanDisk Extreme 90mb/s 16gb. I guess it's just not updated.
Thanks for the info regardless, it's a great chart. |
