Thanks. 15 minutes in-n-out job. The owner of the shop was very nice, so I am printing all that for him (4-6). I probably will print a few big posters for myself, my wife asked at least two of them. |

Yes, the ringlight is pretty cool. It's very portable with the camera, not heavy at all. I love flower macro photography and this light is perfect for it, especially indoors. However, I find out it's not that great for portraits, which I may get myself a Ring Flash for that... my eyes on Orbis, saving money for it. I love Ring Flash portraits as well. Hopefully post some very soon. |

I wish I could afford one of those -- it works great. I may try to cobble together something out of "spare parts" one of these days ...
I really like how you don't go overboard with sharpening; the soft-but-in-focus look works really well with these flowers and the lighting. |

Yes, I didn't want to do the "killer sharp" for those. As they were looked good :) One of them printed 12X36, came out very nice. The ringlight I used is only around 40 bucks |

So it is ... I mis-read the price the first time. Still out of my budget at the moment -- also none of my cameras has a hot-shoe, so I'm not sure how I'd power/control it anyway. |

You actually don't need the hot shoe to be able to use this ring. It is only to mount the batteries basically, ring is "on-always" it doesn't actually flashes with the shutter. It is good because it gives a good focusing even low low light, since you have your own. You can attach the holder ring on the lens, and clip the led ring then probably just hold the battery mount in your hand and shoot.
I hope you will get this soon, it's fun to experiment, for this kind of $$$... |
