Just got this in my e-mail. Maybe Corel has been listening to the PaintShop Pro fanboys after all? My guess is something similar in nature to Aperture or Lightroom.

| They also own PhotoImpact, which hasn't had an update since 2007. |

Hm..I thought Nova Development owned PhotoImpact. Corel took it to version X3 (which sucked when I tried it) but Nova has it at version 13 Pro (see link above) which was released sometime in 2008 I think. So still a few years.

Well, that's interesting. I checked my version of PhotoImpact and it says PhotoImpact X3 in the title (and Corel up top), and in finer print version 13.00.0000.0, copyright InterVideo Digital Technology Corporation 1992-2007. I thought Corel bought ULead, who's the company I originally got some long-ago version of PhotoImpact from.
Never heard of Nova Development before.
edit - can't type ;-)
