It was a toss up between getting the sun flare or getting the whole bridge in the frame. I think I made the right choice. :)

I did not submit this one  because I have preferred a completely new subject (the rusted palmtree). |

My entry was this one:
It fared OK, I guess, but I expected better from it. I thought it was quirky and engaging, whcih I didn't expect most of the rust pictures to be. But in the end I was swayed by wanting to include a pigeon shot for Deb to see. Apparently she didn't see it, so that was a wasted effort :-)
I was going to enter this one:
I wonder if it would have done better? I needed a few extra 10ths to advance in the "beat your own average" challenge, which in the end I failed to do...
