I've been cruising around Google Earth while looking ahead to a drill programme and came across this. It's as if the land knows I'm about to open pit mine it.

Whoa! Where's it at? Or is that privileged information?

It's a lot like the painting "The Scream" isn't it?

Now, if it was only the Virgin Mary you could rake in big bucks selling prints on eBay ... ;-)

That's what I thought. Maybe I should avoid this area in case it's haunted. :-O

I see it as more of a Simpsons character, except elongated. The eyeballs and the dome-head, mainly. The mouth is an "O" of surprise to me, not the tortured scream of the painting. So if the site IS haunted, it's more of a friendly, bumbling ghost.

Captain Zapp Brannigan: Our mission is clear: destroy all alien lifeforms.
Kif Kroker: Umm, not me sir...
Captain Zapp Brannigan: Right. Nobody destroy Kif. Unless you have to.

RE: Ravaging the Earth
I got all excited thinking this was in the Challenge Suggestions forum. :/

My first impression was Homer Simpson: "Doh!" and also I would bet that most inanimate objects could be caught wincing and cringing when Slippy passes by - just happened to capture it this time. Well done. :-)

Somehow I imagine a challenge like that would include Godzilla in it.

I'd be happy with a "Scorched Earth" or "Village Burning" challenge. Something that allows me to hone some of my other skills.

I definitely see an "Oh yes, ravage me now" face

I wonder what Eric von Daniken has to say about it?
