Hi guys,

I'm going to be doing a shoot next Thursday at the Jack Singer concert hall here in Calgary. I'll be shooting a couple of the volunteer ushers for an upcoming event. I had an idea of having them on either side of the aisle making an beckoning motion.

Here's what I have to work with
- two flashes
- two stands
- one umbrella
- one large reflector (white/gold 45" I believe)
- some correction gels (this set: //www.thecamerastore.com/products/camera-flash/flash-modifiers/honl-photo-gel-kit-corrections )
- I can trigger both flashes remotely so that's not a problem
- I can attach the reflector to a light stand with clamps but I can't adjust tilt
- I have a sto-fen diffuser for one of the two flashes.
- remote trigger for the camera

Theoretically I could bounce one of the flashes off the white side of the reflector in lieu of a second reflector. Unfortunately I don't have another set of hands to help.

Any ideas? Thoughts?

I've tried to come up with ideas, but it's hard without seeing the setting.

I'd likely have the attendants bring house lights to full, including stage lights.

I'd then have the large reflector to one side of the camera with both flashes pointed into it.

Put the camera on a tripod and drag the shutter to allow house lights to illuminate the background.

yeah...its pretty tough to conceptualize it. Brainiac that I am, I just realized that maybe I'm not the first person to photograph the concert hall.
Here are a couple of shots of the interior (thanks to the Googley machine):

I think your idea could work Leroy. Would I shoot the flash through the umbrella into the reflector? It looks like the ambient is relatively warm but not as warm as I thought. Should I put a warming gel on my flash? So many questions....
