Do you think this hurts ones photos, limits you on subjects or just makes you more inventive?

It has got to the point that I haven't even touch my camera for more then a month. Instead I've been playing around more with PS. Hopefully this can help because of my cameras limitations.

Last week I finally started to take pictures again and hopefully I'll have something for the free study.

All three. It certainly limits you as far as subjects because the camera will respond better to certain situations and not others and obviously you want to take pictures of things that look good. It also makes you more inventive to get around your limitations. There are certainly some shots I took with my little A40 that wouldnt have turned out as well with my D100, or that I wouldnt have even tried so hard to get.

I think it depends on what kind of pictures you want to take. If you are happy with the kind that your camera takes or enjoy stretching the limitations of your camera then all is well. You just have to look at it as a challenge and not let it hamper creativity. I think I was more creative with my A40 than I am with my D100.
