Hello everyone.

Keen to get your thoughts about the effect of trying to integrate social media onto my homepage. Is it too distracting?

Google Analytics tells me that I get a lot of traffic from Facebook and so I'm eager to try to leverage that further but I'm not 100% sure that doing so doesn't actually negatively impact first impressions on arriving at the site. I know the font isn't great (blue and grey on black) but I can't alter that because it's Facebook's widget simply being framed.

For those of you looking to do the same thing, I used the Facebook Developer Like Box code but the default settings gives an ugly blue box around it (because it's an iframe) and therefore I used a modified version of this code to hover a second frame over the edge to hide the border.

Thoughts welcome.

I just took a really quick look, because I have to be off of the computer in a second. But to me it was NOT too distracting. I think it should be a good way for you to get more traffic. Good idea

I thought it was subtle.
