Can I use a regular 77mm UV filter for my Canon 24-105mm f4 lens, or do I need to buy a wide angle UV filter?? |

That will work... I do have my doubts as to authenticity... the filter photo clearly shows "Made in Philippines" while the ad says "made in Japan."
FWIW, unless you need protection against sea spray or other corrosive materials, leave the UV filter off and use the lens hood to protect the front element. All the UV filter is going to do is degrade image quality, it certainly will not improve it. |
