I̢۪m curious to know how people are preserving their photos. What type of portfolios are you using?
I'm getting ready to get a hand full of my photos enlarged to 8 x12 and 10 x15
I kind of like the Canson scrap books. They are spiral bound with heavy weight black construction paper. I would use photo corners to mount them inside.
Most of the enlargements that I will be getting for right now will be black and white. I will be ordering them on matte paper. I'm not crazy about the clear plastic pages that you see in most portfolios but I may not have a choice.
Any suggestions?

GMDI, are you just looking to preserve the photos or use them for presentation professionally? I am also looking into putting together a portfolio but to be used as a way to get into professional photography. I have heard that matting and then using protective sheets and placing in a box was best. Take a look at this link

You can get professional portfolios at any high end art store, they tend to be 'reasonably' priced :-) |
