I think it would be nice to be able to search the forums in a more advanced way. For example, I would like to search just the forum names sometimes. I search for a word, and I get millions of matches, because the body of the forum contains the word somewhere. So, I still end up looking through tons of forums for what I want.

The search mechanism is now actually much better than it used to be, thanks to a recent "upgrade" by D&L.

One tip: if you search from the main forum page, it searches all of the forums. But if you search from a specific forum (like Tips & Tricks) it only searches within that one forum. Sometimes that can help narrow things down.

Also, I think you can put things in quotes to search for exact phrases, and negate certain search terms (in other words, make sure the word is not present) by putting a minus (-) in front of them. Might be worth a try.

I agree though, that it would be nice to have an "advanced" search form and be able to limit searches to only thread titles, or to a specific username, etc.
