I am super excited, finally got my 4gb of RAM that I have been awaiting for my iMac. So I went from 1gb which was amazingly slow with LR2 and PSE6 and CS5(trial) to the max that my iMac can hold(4gb) Immediate, noticable difference. Should have done it months ago.

AND... my sigma 10-20mm lens should be at the house when I get home tonight. Big smile.

I have 4gb in my Macbook Pro - handles the workflow great. I use PS CS5 and can open several RAW files without a slow down. I did have to upgrade the hard drive to 500gb though as the 200 gb drive it had in it was too small.

Congrats on the new lens

Thanks, yeah I had to get a new external HD as well once I switched to RAW and I will likely get a even larger one in the near future.

Got the Sigma 10-20 last night so I took it out for a few test shots. Man this ultra wide is sweet. I think this will be an excellent addition. test photo

wo excellent purchases, the ram upgrade is a must to work with the photograph (i have 8Gb on my Mac, it is a lightning)...

i have not had the 10-20 sigma, but many of my friends has it and are all very happy... not so easy to use at 10mm but really interesting results...

here a test from my friend Emanuele...
