Thankyou everyone for your comments and votes throughout this challenge. I had a few commentors and no doubt voters, who either couldn't make out what the image was or thought it was a drawing. It was definitely made up from photos...smoke incense, motorbike parts and surrounding details.
Challenge Entry -
So I have not only added a print available to the image but also a slightly larger version to allow people to see the details a little more. The print version is larger again.
Larger version -
So thanks again folks.

That's the first time I've noticed the 'view full-sized image' link - Thanks for pointing that out.

Judi, how many images did you use for this. I love it. I've been looking at my incense smoke images to try something similar but I don't think I have any good ones to use. |

Jac...from memory I used 26 images. There were two others similiar to this that I did just before the dragon...they may give you ideas of what you can do. I will say that there is very little liquefy on the overall dragon. Basically the smoke pieces are resized and put into position. By looking for little elements within the smoke you can build your dragon. For example...look for what the smoke looks like...it might be a claw...an eye...part of a tail etc. By constantly overlapping smoke images the creature is formed.
