Hey guys,

Ive noticed there is quite a few adaptors to convert nikon f mount lenses to canon. Ive recently aquired the Canon 1ds Mark III and i have quite a few Sigma lenses. As far as ive understood you cannot convert DX lens.

I bought a cheap adaptor from ebay just for £10 to try it out - as far as i knew it would work fine. The lens mounts to the Canon but i dont have control of any feature, no focus and no aperture its all manual - also its a struggle to see through the lens.

Ive seen alot of adaptors that have the chip built in so it connects to the terminals on the lens im guessing this is what i missed out on.

What adaptors would you recommend for these lenses to convert them to Canon EOS mount.

Sigma EX 28-70mm F2.8 D
