I'm looking for some software free or pay, that will calibrate the colors, gamma, curves, resistance between my Mac and my Monitor. Kind of like what Calibrize does, but for Mac, since Calibrize is Windows only.
Thanks in advance!

| What about Apple's built-in Display Calibration (Display Preferences > Color)? |

I use Spider2Express, I think they are up to Spider3Express, now.
Comes with a calibration sensor that reads the actual output from the monitor. |

I use the Spyder3Express--works great, simple to use. It can actively monitor the ambient light and warn you when it is significantly different than at the time of calibration. I had tried the built-in calibration, but it left too much up to my own eyes.
There are lots of devices out there that will do this. I chose the Spyder3Express because a pro I know uses it, showed me how it worked, and I was sold. Plug and Play on the mac. If you search online, you can find some better prices. I got mine a Calibration Direct for about $190.00 (around $240 elsewhere) |

I second this. It works in the event you don't have a hardware calibrator though the hardware calibrator would be more accurate. Software always relies on your eyes which notoriously compensate for anything.
I use the Spyder 2.

| Just a quick follow up: Ebay Spyder3's are at lower prices than I mentioned: Spyder3Express runs about 90 bucks--I misspoke in the earlier post, I have the Spyder3Elite, which runs double that (new). Not really sure what the differences are, though. |

It's difficult to use and I never end up satisfied with the results.
Also, Spyder3 looks Intel processors only. I'm being left out... And running out of excuses not to buy as new computer.

Google it and you'll find pointers on how to achieve the best results with Apple's built in Calibration. If I recall correctly you need to use the native Gamma, not one of the other presets. |
