The score is about where I guessed it to be based on "first" image that I choose... but the favorite makes me feel great and the comments are wonderful!! I guessed this to be between 4.0 and 5.0 looks as if I am about right.

No offense Judi - but I looked through the challenge entries (thumbnails) and didn't see any one particular one that I think would generate that many views. Are you sure you aren't viewing your own multiple times??? lol |

I'm a little confused -- the one that I thought would be getting that many views shouldn't be getting that low of a score. There's a second one that it could be, but again, I don't think it should be getting that low of a score.
It's a mystery :)

Was in the 6's yesterday and has been steadily going down but if it stays above 5.82 it will be a PB! I wish I had the time to do the suggestions that  PGerst provided as my mentor as I know it would have been a 6 score. Anyway, very happy :-D

well, i have to say...Nuzzer researched the original shot and made comparisons in his comment on my current entry, so I imagine he is doing his homework and finding some shots not meeting the challenge. I kind of appreciate that effort, as my intent was to improve on the shot i chose to mimic.

With all due respect, please help me understand. Did you require an exact match to the member's first entry? Or, did you allow for improvements in technique, a more challenging, but similar, subject and increased degree of difficulty? |

The original scored a 6.9. I'm currently at 6.05. However, the original was done in the first have of 2000, so scores were a lot higher then. It would definitely not get a 6.9 today. I'm a little surprised at the 6.05, however. I pegged it for a 6.2-6.3, and I'm usually pretty good at guessing the score on my entries. Perhaps there's something else coming into play -- like people thinking that the photo should be changed up a bit, instead of just being redone?
