I was close to submitting this instead.

I didn't cause I liked my other image more. any thoughts on whether that might have done better?

love love LOVE the out take. Wow. That says chaos to me for sure and it was quite well shot!
I guess the question is would the editing have been legal under basic?

don't see why not -- just adjustments an a touch of topaz adjust. maybe a bit more than a touch. I had fun with topaz, I suppose.

while I had the raw pre my submission I may not have processed it until during. I'm a little sketchy on those details.

Agreed. Really love the outtake.

That's coming from someone that dealt cards for a living for about 5 years ;)

I submitted this one, and am very pleased with the results (personal best)

But was considering this one. This was my original idea for the pic, I just didn't feel that I got it right. Note to everyone else out there, if you are trying to capture chaotic movement, don't set the sutter speed too long. I wanted people to blur, but in most of my pictures they blurred out of existance, and not it a good way.

Hey idealodds. I think you would have done better with your outtake. The pic is more interesting and the colors are more vivid. It has more of the "ooooh shiney" factor.

isn't this a tad freaky? It wasn't photoshopped -- this is how the shot turned out.

Cyclops kitty!

If the colors weren't so soft it would make a good scarey picture.

I really dislike cats (some genetic prejudice I inherited from my father) and this does nothing to change my mind. It's creepy!
