I want to take your basic studio "senior" portrait. A nice, but not very interesting shot. But I want to add an element of humor to it. An unusual facial feture of sorts. I wish I could say more without giving it away.
Assuming it was technically very well done how do you think it would score? Does Humor ever win?
You can look at the other two studio shots in my profile to get an idea of the kind of studio work I do.

Sure why wouldn't do well. If it is technically superior then the others and also interesting it should do well. By the congrats on the blue ribbon.

The problem is I don't think it will be technically superior at all. Except for the humor aspect it will be very ordinary. I just don't know if humor is enough to score high.

I do have some other ideas which involve snazzy backgrounds and cool lighting, if all else fails!

I think maybe it is time for me to remake this:

jk but, if there is anything I can say about it well it is color. :))

Humor can do well, but...HARD to win. I never got over...well, below.
