| It seems to be taking forever to get to the site and forum pages and for everything to load......is it like that for anyone else? |

I was thinking the same.
Well. Actually I was thinking my Internet connection's crackin' up. But yes. It is slower than normal.

I think dpchallenge is self-aware. It read the comment and sped up, cause it's fine for me now too.

It's the government testing their "internet shut down" system, on a rotating basis by shutting down small sections of it for a minute at a time.

It seems to slow down 'round the time of my scores getting updated... maybe it's tallying all the registered users' scores at the same time and grinds to a halt?

As for the slow down yesterday -- remember the thread where the user graciously compiled all the "first" entries? It effected the site quite a bit.
So, please, before you begin pulling stuff from the site, even if it is for a very, very good cause, please ask the admins first. :) |
