I just came across this totally free software that searches for duplicate images on your PC and suggests the results to you for disk cleanup. If you are like me, you probably keep multiple backup copies of image files on your PC. This program may help clean the duplicates up.
I just started running it... will update on how it went.

*ahem* you have a spelling error unless you meant a different kind of cleanup. :)

I've been looking for something like this, because I've done backup after backup and stuffed them in different folders... and I've reset the numbering on my D40 a couple times, which gives false positives, so the only way to find duplicates effectively would be precisely this program.

I have been using easyduplicatefinder for over a year after testing several other applications. None were as fast or as thorough as Easyduplicatefinder. You should try it out. |
