Hello,

I have a domain pointed to my smugmug acct. Does anyone know if it is expensive to have a site where others can sign in and upload photos to thier acct for critique from others... etc? This will not be a contest site. I'm sure it will be small potatos unless I get very lucky :-)

Thanks.

Nah, if you use a program like Dreamweaver or Freeway, these elements you speak of can easily be done through php and html code. With freeway, coding goes out the widnow, but if you are familiar with php, all you have to do is create a php form with username, password, email etc. and tell the site to keep that information for login. To have a site as large as DPC may be tough, but it can be done without cost. An alternative would be a wiki site such as wikia.com or wetpaint.com or wordpress.com. They allow you to build at site with them, that the features your asking for are already there. The downside is you have to pay them extra for a custom domain and to get rid of advertising.
