Has anyone here done or is currently doing the C25K iPhone app to get to running?
I've never been a runner and TBH in the sports I played in school running was punishment for not performing well. But I am turning 40 next year and have decided I want to get in better physical shape and healthier if possible. So I've started this program. I just started this week and plan on finishing and running my first 5K this fall. Anyone else doing this and how have you done and have you ran a 5K yet? |

There was a thread not long ago regarding this, I will see if I can find it.

I thought there was one on here, but searched and came up empty. Not unusual for the internal search engine on the site though. |

You might be interested in reading the runnersworld.com forums. They have some good information on running and people to help keep you motivated. Good luck on your 5K!!! But be careful...they are addictive. :) |

Thanks I'm not sure how addicting running will be to me, but I'm hoping to find something to keep me motivated. The thing I like best about the C25K was the three day a week schedule. I work two jobs one mon-fri and the other odd nights during the week for the newspaper. So this will fit my odd schedule and I'll still get the full workout. The goal is to run a few 5K's for charities each year and perhaps at some point a half marathon. |

Are you still running? I noticed in the other thread you were, but are you still?
