I''ve entered 8 challenges so far and overall I think my scores have been higher than I deserve but my favorite photo to date has the lowest score (Keep it Clean!) To me it has nice composition, good lighting, good color and it met the challenge. Since it''s my son in the photo I''m not completely objective but I would like any comments as to why you think this photo scored lower that the rest of mine? I''ve got thick skin so let it fly.
Thanks, Roger

Well ill take a stab at it,... althought its a nice clean shot,.. worthy of the photo album, its not really a very interesting shot, it brings up the old debate between what is the difference between a photograph and a snapshot. You have a great eye,.. now just try in incorporate some more art into the picture and I think youll have a winner. Remember I dont make my living taking pictures so this is just an opinion.

Hi Roger, Here is my 2 cents -Your other shots have appeal, They are interesting, artsy, and they make your mind wander around them for a moment. A picture of somebody else’s kid (any kid) or a baby â€Â¦.They are so ordinary. If it’s my own child, It does hold my interest longer. But to the massesâ€Â¦Ã¢€Â¦It’s just another picture of a kid. Good color, great focus – By the way, You did quite well in that particular challenge. You were surrounded by some phenomenal photography. Even though the photos are supposed to be judged on their own merit, quite a few voters do compare them to the other photos in the challenge.
Regards, - Mike
