After my frustrating morning went back out and had some fun with the camera......took photos of animals, flowers and the sky and got much better results. This is fun!

Think the plant is possibly called a parrot plant......the ant is just an ant :)

Really... I can never get these results. Was it hand held? You are really doing well with the bug shots. Should change you name to suemacko ;)

LOL......yep hand held as I still don't have the tripod, had to take the flower inside as it was getting late and windy so used the flash. I just love the dramatic colour of the flowers.....they almost look unreal.

Keep up the good work :) and keep posting them. BTW... What settings did you use on the flower and ant?

Manual mode, flash, F14.0, ISO 100, 1/200.....and thankyou for your encouragement, it means a lot to me :D
