Does anyone know of a way to change the selection from 'add to' to 'subtract from' your selection with a keyboard press instead of the click up top?

| alt I think does that but there should be a short cut next to the menu item |

On a mac in CS4 and CS5 holding down the Option key should change it from add to subtract

| Holding down ALT shifts to subtraction mode. Holding down the SHIFT key shifts to addition mode. Hold the key down while you do the selection. |

I'm a day late and a dollar short, but it's the alt key you want, yuppers. My left thumb lives on the alt key when I am fine tuning selections :-)
