Here is a set of photographs I took!

Is anyone available to lend me some of their hard earned knowledge? I love these pics and I just need some advice. Sometimes its just better to get a few other people's perspective.

My only input/question is this: did you intend for there to be a yellow cast on most of those?

Some of them do have a bit of a yellow cast. Most likely it was evening sun. The ones right by the window could probably use a touch of color correction for the skin tones. I'm not one of the portrait experts, however. I just know what appeals to me. I really like this one:

Makes me want to go to church.

Yes I set my WB to have a warmer color cast. I think it adds something to it and I was tired of shooting everything in Auto WB so I was experimenting. Im really a BW photographer and I dont relate as well with color. So, I guess I was just trying to get better at it.

I agree with spiff, this is a very, very nice image..

I do think the warmer tone is nice, but I might try using selective color (or it's equivalent) to bring the whites back towards white..

like in what areas? When it comes to color, im practically blind or just ignorant of everything. I dont know what makes a good color photo.
