Through decades of observation, I've noticed that the west end of Lake Ontario is unfairly dumped upon.

I've created a weather map depicting the discrimination against Burlington, Ontario, which acts as a funnel for all the crappy weather in North America. Sometimes the weather is so jerky that it loops around over Newfoundland and comes back to dump on Burlington again. We're either getting the cold wet crap from the north pole, or the cool wet crap from British Columbia, which both like to recharge their wetness over the western Great Lakes. We also get the wet crap from California, or the humid wet crap from the Gulf of Mexico. And if hurricanes come in they either join the Gulf crap and end up pooping out over us, or hit the Carolinas and poop out over us.

I have come to the conclusion that Burlington, Ontario is the toilet bowl of all weather... and forget about last summer, during the North Atlantic Oscillation, which held a high pressure zone over the North Atlantic, blocking the crap from continuing away from us, out to sea. It effectively backed up the toilet. Another summer like that and I will slit my wrists.

Please, let this summer be different!

There's no way your weather can be worse than ours here in Newfoundland.............I hereby forbid you to complain about your weather until you have lived a year (or at least a summer) in Newfoundland.

I think Art may have you beat Slippy. Heck, the last three weeks it has been a rainy winter here in Washington.

This is a quite timely post. Last night 3 tornadoes rolled thru this area and killed 7 people. I noticed that as the storm was leaving our area, it plowed thru Lake Erie and was making a beeline for Canada. Must have been heading your way!

It was 110+ degrees here yesterday... Oh, and my cooler took a crap due to the heat... Yeah, sitting here working in super heat conditions... What fun... Don't underestimate just how nice it is up there...

...as I have told Beetlerepeatedly..."The nice thing about rain is that you don't have to shovel it"...

I have been to Seattle on several occasions and I truly can't say I feel sorry for your folks. :O)
