Hi all,
I had one of my digital image sent for printing recently....b4 bringing it to the photo lab....i've inserted my "signature" on the image (using photoshop) at the bottom right corner. Then I've requested for a 8x10 print (8R)...but when i collected the print...i found out that the photo has been "sliced" off...as i could see my "signature" was cut off half way....why is that so? how would i be able to rectify the problem in future? |

Make sure the aspect ratio is right for 8x10/4x5 (1.25:1) before printing. More than likely your photo was in an 8x12/4x6(1.50:1) aspect ratio so they diced two inches to make it an 8x10.

Also, when printed edge to edge the image is blown up slightly so it extends past the edge of the paper. To ensure that your signature appears in full put it slightly in from the edges.

I know you have to get the aspect ratio or they will crop or add a white border. They let you look at them first though before sending to print.
Speaking of, how long does it take from order date to have your prints shipped? I have ordered prints, but they haven't printed or shipped them yet. It's been 2 days. |

I think they usually ship within 24-48 hours. You might want to email an inquiry before the weekend. |
