Can anyone out there help me with my camera and myself making colorful pictures.
I don\\\\\\\'t have samples of my own pictures right now, but i can\\\\\\\'t get any picture to come out so colorful like this.

my pictures come out like if theirs a gray filter on it. Is it necessary to use RAW and convert to CMYK?

RAW provides some advantages, but it is not a necessity. What kind of adjustments are you making to your images? |

CMYK is generally for prints so no to that part of the question. I find that adjusting levels and contrast helps bump up the impact of the colors too. Saturation also helps but if you push it too much it just looks bad.

I think you also need to think about your lighting and other things like that when taking the photo in the first place. I very much doubt the colourful vibrant photo from Librodo posted in this thread was done just by a few tweaks in Photoshop. Not suggesting there are not a few tweaks in PS too, I think it's clear there are, but I think it was likely pretty darn good to start with because it was well set up before clicking the shutter.
