For those in the UK who want to try out the GIMP image processing software, the magazine Amateur Photographer has version 2.0 for Windows on a CD this week.

The GIMP is also available for free download on most platforms from //www.gimp.org/downloads/

FWIW, I use GIMP for all of my editing needs... love it, been using it since version 0.54 (back in 1996).
