| Okay, plans are changing rapidly at my house. May have to skip tonight & tomorrow. ARGHHHH!!! Will check back on progress for Botanical Gardens may meet you all up there. Have a great weekend. Sorry I won't be able to be there. Don't forget to post pictures. |

Hey Dave...when you guys got that hotel thru priceline, did you just give $125 as the rate and it just happened to pick that one? I'm trying to get the same hotel as everyone else, and just want to make sure I get it. :) The priceline thing is kind of a gamble. :-)
Let me know how you guys did your search, and I'll give it a shot. Thanks

Quentin did Priceline and got that price. I called the hotel directly hoping to get that price and they laughed at me and said Priceline should have been updated to a higher price.
I hung up the phone, put in $125 and ended up getting Sutton Place. Todd Macmillan did the same as me, so you are correct, it is a gamble, but we both got the same hotel.
You specify North Michigan Avenue as the area, so even if you get somewhere else, it'll be close. Ken Ilio (flip89) is staying at the Hard Rock Hotel. I don't know what his rate was.

I have to work today ,it is end of the Second Quarter and company needs me :-)
I'll see you tomorrow all day,after midnight I'm going on vacation 5 days to Smoky Mountains (call of the wild). |

I don't think that we will be making the Botanical Gardens (my husband's not into plants!), but we will still see everyone on Saturday!

Will be meet up with you guys tonight and definitely will be there tomorrow but not Sunday. If people are going to the fireworks, I will have blankets ... we just need to scope a place tomorrow before 7 pm either in Grant Park area or Millennium Park area. Let's talk about it over lunch tomorrow. |

| Well, I'm now out. The tranny went out in my daily driver, and considering I'm currently unemployed I can't afford the gas to take my other car to chicago (350 V8). Sorry I'll be missing you all. Hopefully ya'll have fun and take some great photo's. |

Well, got my reservation for Saturday night, Priceline gave us:

Looks like we are just around the corner from Sutton Place.
My wife, Amy, and I will be at Navy Pier by 11am. We'll probably stay outside of town some place tonight (might hit the casinos) and head over to the pier early in the morning.
Dave - If you guys will be walking around before the 11am meeting, maybe I'll catch you on the cell phone if we get to Navy Pier early.
