Do this happen to anyone else??? You hop onto the B&H website just to order a quick little thing or two and suddenly you're checking out with a full cart? Sigh... oh well, at least its an enjoyable expense.

 Tonight they got me for:

77mm Haze UV-1 Glass Filter (L-39 Sharp Cut)
 Slik 300DX Tripod with 3-Way Pan/Tilt Head
Quick Release Plate for 300DX Tripod
Habuka Mini Pro Lens PenRemote Switch RS-80N3
 Habuka Blower Brush Deluxe Small
 Sandisk Card Reader
Lowepro CompuTrekker AW Camera + Laptop Backpack

Thats a quick $400 drop in the bucket...

 Fun stuff.

		| Last time I just "went looking" I wound up with a stroboframe flash bracket, sc-17 sync cord, and a lumiquest softbox. I've learned that if I don't have the money,. don't even look. |

I'm a B&Haholic - sad but true. I look at the site to check something out and then FLASH - the next thing I know I'm the proud owner of something new, much to the detriment of my credit card balance. So far I've bought all my lenses and other bits and pieces from B&H. All up so far about $4,600 (yikes!!).
The one consolation is that it's saved me over $2,000 (Aussie) 'cause camera gear over here is outragously expensive.
I'm now reformed and on the wagon so there is hope.

I've bought all my stuff from them, I can't really compare them to anyone else but in my opinion they have the best service/price ratio.

Of course now that I'm about ten grand in I might be biased... :-) |

		Ordered also from them yesterday...
I ordered the Tamrac Velocity 9 Pro Sling pack
 //www.tamrac.com/5749.htm

Need a bag large enough to hold all of my gear and some of my future purchases :)

So far I´ve bought the Sigma EF 500DG Super flash + StoFen Omnibouncer, some filters and the Sigma 70-300mm APO lens from them...
 That site sure is addictive.

Plan on getting the battery grip and probably the Sigma 18-125mm lens when it comes out, well if it gets good reviews anyway...
Then as budget allows I´ll move to more higher end lenses. |

		| Ivar, let me know how you like that Tamrac bag. I bought one made by Lowepro for my A1 and I absolutely love it - it's from their "urban" collection and doesn't really look like a camera bag. But now that I have my dRebel, I'm gonna have to get another bag cuz the Lowepro is just too small :-( |

		| I have the Tamrac Expedition 5 and love it. Very comfortable to wear, fits quite a bit of stuff, but admittedly I'm full. Anymore gear and I'd have to get a bigger bag. It looks like a hiking bag instead of a camera bag. |

		| I picked up a Tenba DB-15C for a recent trip while traveling by air -- mostly because I didn't want to carry a separate laptop and camera bag. After checking out a bunch of bags at the camera store, I bought the DB-15C, and I really like it. It also came with a removeable waist/hip belt, which is good for longer hikes. For protection from the elements, it has a foldout waterproof raincover, and a separate foldout "ground cover" to keep dirt and moisture off the bag. The adjustable dividers allow me to configure it so I can stow my camera with whatever lens I want mounted on the camera, including the 70-200/2.8. If you're looking for a way to carry your laptop and your camera, I highly recommend checking out Tenba's new laptop-ready D-Series. |

I will... I will probably get it in a week or so. This was a tossup between the velocity 7 and 9 but I read some threads on Dpreview from people who said that the vel.7 is to small for the rebel with the battery grip. I then chose to buy the vel.9, the more space the better :) I do not want to buy a new bag every time I buy something new camera related :) |

I heard that! Man, I went thru 7 bags (buying and returning) before I settled on my Lowepro. The process was almost painful and not one I would care to repeat. Takes too much time away from shooting :-) |

I have the Velocity 9, and I'm not that happy with it. Its built pretty well, but I find it to not be as sturdy as I'd hoped, and its thicker than I need it to be. My biggest problem is that for me its mostly wasted space, I find it way to difficult to get to stuff if its stored in the bottom of the bag, requires removing everything on top of it. Unacceptable.

I think I'm going to start using it to carry some of my scuba stuff actually...

I was thinking of picking up one of these cheaper bags for my small slingy needs //cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=50507&item=3821154956&tc=photo , using the Velocity 9 like I said to carry my scuba stuff, and using the Lowepro CompuTrekker to carry all my gear when needed.

Tough choices, maybe I should have used choosing a bag for my current entry instead of my ill-fated losing shot... :-) |

I have the Lowepro Computrekker AW, I love it! Carries all my photo gear AND my computer. Can be a carry-on item when I fly too!

Talking about B & H, I was at their NYC store 2 weeks ago and ended buying this lens, I got to play with their store demo 1D Mark 2. Good thing they did not have in available right away or else I would have got one right there.

With me, I live close enough where I end up hopping into the store. ;)
