I have a friend trying to decide between a 10-22 and 17-40.
I am looking for a picture shot at 10mm with crop lines to show (about) what 17mm would look like. I know I've seen what I'm looking for before, but I can't for the life of me find it again.
Anyone know where such an image exists? Or can someone with a 10-22 help me out? Thanks! |

Here is a review of the Canon 10-22 that has a photo you can mouseover to show the field of view at different focal lengths, including both 10 and 17mm.

I have a lens 10-20mm that sits on my camera most of the time, when I put on my 17-50, even at 17 it feels like a telephoto & I cant get back far enough in a room. Admittedly I mostly take photos of caravans & such so I genuinely cant get very far in a room :)

Thanks guys, that site was exactly what I was looking for to show my friend. She saw it and immediately agreed with me that the 10-22 was the way to go. (She's going to Banff this summer.)

She'll like the wide angle. I recently got a Tamron 10-24, and it has stayed on my camera most of the time.
