You should - there needs to be some sort of reward for being up at that time of day :-)

I made this into black and white Cuz I felt the sun was too bright and it was so orange..I have the color one too. Feel free to check out my photos at //photos.yahoo.com/fivepointstar26 there are color shots of my vacation to Daytona Beach, Florida and the sun rising between palm trees. I know palm tree sunrises are common but have you noticed that ppl always photograph the sun to the side of the trees and not in between them? So I did it differntly. I hope it looks ok. Oh and I don't know if that url is gonna work or not. so check out the site instead. |

*sigh* |
Yes it was a very special sunrise this morning and I had my camera but no spot to pull over to photograph it I was very tempted to stop ontop of a single lane bridge as it was the only place where I could see above the surounding building but with the light levels I would have needed my tripod which I had left at home
by the time I got to a good location the moment had passed

What do you do when sunsets and sunrises are fused together, like we have here at 64°N in these times of year? :)

I don't really do the morning thing.. it's too early to wake up.. although sometimes when I stay out all night, I tell myself that I should get up one morning and go photographing.. it hasn't happened yet..
although.. it might happen when I change time zones soon.. so while my bodyclock is all stuffed up, ill probably wake up early one morning.. [the last time that happened was a few months ago in the snow.. :D] |

Put them in both threads? Go by the date stamp? Actually, I think Gareth had the answer ... |

I have a stunning sunrise photo similar to this from high school (when I got up for sunrise). But it's 35mm and won't yet see the light of the Internet.
